The most basic way I can describe this game would be as a Multiplayer Career Mode/Online League. Each person chooses a team. They then inherit that team's kit/crest and use them to play in the league. We will start with lists of player you guys want in order of preference,once you give us that list we will choose (in a sort of draft) from each person and see if you get your desired team, if not we will ask you to choose some new players to complete the squad. That's the basics. If anybody wants to film these games, be my guest, and I'll stick them on our YouTube channel. :)
Transfers
Each team can make transfers. You can sell or buy players from other player-controlled teams. When you select your team, you will be alloted some money (done in £, not US$). This is given as such.
As I'm sure you are aware, each team is given a rating on FIFA (Att, Mid, Def). We will take each team's rating and use that as the basis for how much money they get. To make the game fairer, the better your team is to start with, the less money you will recieve. As the sum of each team's stats is usually around 180-250, 300 is the number we will start with. Then subtract the team's added total. Which sounds really complex, but it isn't. Here's an example using Manchester United.

These add to 246. 300-246 = 54, so United will have £54m (We'll say million to make ourselves sound richer). So a lower ranked team (Example Brisbane Roar).

Total is 189. 300-189 = £111m. See how this works? Good.
To transfer players, go on FIFA and in the menus, select Customise FIFA > Edit Teams > Change Squads/Rosters > Club transfers, and you'll be able to change everything. As a matter of courtesy, I ask that you check your opponents roster on the website before playing them to make sure they aren't being sneaky.
League
We will be running a league competition, and maybe even some cups, depending on how many people we get playing. The league will be a round robin (each person plays each other person), playing each other twice. Once home (hosting) and once away (not hosting). 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, duh.
I'll keep an updated leaderboard on the page, and will keep the results updated too. To tie in with the transfers, we will have 1 transfer window. Once in the mid-season (after everybody has played each other twice).
We'll have a playoff at the end of the season, so in all there will be 2 winners. A league winner and a championship winner. The playoff structure will be decided at the end, when we see how many teams are competing.
If this game ever gets big, we will even consider making promotion/relegation/national leagues.
